Fasten your seatbelts. Wikipedia Asian Month is ready to give you a tour of Asia for the entire month of November. During this tour, you will learn a lot about Asia; People, language, culture, and many more things.

As the online edit-a-thon started from 1st November, You can choose from any one of the 41 languages and take part in this edit-a-thon. This year many affiliates and projects are providing some special prizes for Wikipedia Asian Month.

  • Asian Art Month is an event supported by Metropolitan Museum of Arts, New York City. The event encourages Asian art topics related to historical Asian artworks, artwork types, and art traditions, from any region of Asia.
  • 120 years of diplomatic relations between Russia and Thailand, a sub-contest to write articles about travel in Russia, culture, and traditions, from any region of Russia. The contest is limited within Thai, Russian and English language Wikipedias.
  •  Wiki Seed Of Taiwan Knowledge project,  a project by Wikimedia Taiwan, which invites WAM participants to write articles about Taiwanese aborigines.
  • Bhubaneswar Heritage Edit-a-thon, a global edit-a-thon supported by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority to write articles on different heritage monument of Bhubaneswar. The purpose of this event is to turn Bhubaneswar into a QRPedia city.
